Sam is qualified Lawyer with experience in Criminal Law, Government advisory and Teaching. He has vast experience as a dynamic, charismatic and fun public speaker, with the skills to ensure your day is the special one you deserve. Sam's communication skills are second to none, and have been polished over the years through interviews on Television and Radio, legal experience as well as facilitating and being a Master of Ceremonies for sports events, corporate dinners and fundraisers. Sam is also available to act as a Master of Ceremonies for corporate and community events. Finally, Sam is available to do interviews in relation to New Zealand and global politics and issues. As a former political candidate and with his previous experience being interviewed on television and radio he has a unique set of experiences and views.

I've got the skills as a dynamic communicator, with experience doing interviews on Television, Radio, as an MC for large events and from my professional experience as a qualified lawyer and teacher to ensure you obtain the best possible service on the day. 
That means your day will be fun, poignant when it needs to be and all of the serious legal aspects of your day will be covered. I can provide advice on obtaining a Marriage License from Births, Deaths and Marriages. 
I cater to all types of marriages and civil unions and can preform your service in English and utilise my skills with Te Reo Māori.

With my experience as a Master of Ceremonies I've successfully led events for Charities, Commercial entities and Sports events. Bringing together my skills as Lawyer, Teacher, political candidate and experience doing interviews on Television and Radio I have the right blend of skills to kick start your event. With Sam's experience as former political candidate, combined with his experience working as a Lawyer, Teacher and in Government advisory, Sam has unique perspective on New Zealand's political context, with a particular interest in issues such as: social justice, child poverty, Treaty of Waitangi matters, equity and the rights of woman, ethnic minorities and the LGBTQI community.
In the 2017 election Sam was selected to stand for the New Zealand Labour Party in the Tāmaki electorate. In a strong National electorate he doubled the candidate vote from 5,000 to 10,000 voters and significantly raised the profile of the Labour Party in the Eastern Suburbs.
